Spandex and 3M have announced the UK winner of their Wrap Stars competition, celebrating creativity in architectural and vehicle wrapping
December 2022
Coastline Graphics Ltd in Suffolk, clinched the first place prize of £1,000, whilst Brackley-based Silverstone Wraps Ltd and Reading-based Dipway Ltd took the two runner up prizes of £500 each.
The winning entry was the design of bespoke helmet wraps for the fighter pilots or RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall. Elements such as nicknames, characters, hobbies and personal interests have come together and transformed eye-catching and meaningful customised wrap designs for each pilot that wears them. Each member of the squadron provides an individual brief, whether that be a blank canvas or an insight into their vision; where Coastline Graphics Ltd are to hand to transform these into amazing concepts. Our graphics fitters bring these designs to life with stunning wraps. We have used many different 3M materials so far including, Gloss Flip Psychedelic, Matte Blacks, Full colour printed IJ180 and Gloss Flip Deep Space.
