Aaron explains:
“We thought that time was okay. That’s what we’re used to. But then when you kind of poke your head into different places and you see the speed that people can print at…”

As Aaron explains:
“That’s what stood out with the Colorado. The speed that you can print at. The print quality is great and, for the speed that you’re getting, we’re printing probably in half the time.”

From initial planning through to installation and ongoing support, Spandex worked closely with CSG.London to ensure the machine was positioned and configured correctly within the available production space.
“The technical support is great, the setup was great and the positioning of the machine when it came to delivery was great,” Aaron explains. “They’ve really told us what we could and couldn’t get away with. Space is limited, so that support was important.”

Alongside the productivity gains, the Canon Colorado has also helped CSG.London reduce operating costs and improve overall efficiency.
The move to UVgel technology has resulted in lower energy consumption and reduced running costs compared with previous equipment, delivering benefits that extend beyond production speed alone.
“The positive impact on what we pay in bills is dramatically lower. We’re not using as much heat and we’ve got UV LEDs.”
As a business that places importance on operating responsibly and efficiently, these improvements have provided additional value alongside the increase in production capacity.

“We’ve never lost a client. We’ve retained clients for thirty years. Alan’s first client is still our client now.”
